Apples of my eye

We have lived in this city for nearly 6 years. And we finally made it to the popular apple orchard this weekend. The cool weather came out of nowhere and immediately put me in the fall mood. I absolutely love fall!

We rummaged through the closets to find some warmer clothes and headed up the mountain to this beautiful place.

The twins were well behaved.

Our cousin Mathers, an Alabama girl, is living with us this year and enjoying Virginia's change of seasons.

We picked some delicious apples, sipped hot apple cider, took a hay ride, and finished it off with some apple cider donuts.

Caleb refuses to bite his food and instead shoves huge chunks of food into his mouth.

A wonderful first visit. And definitely not the last.
