Late Fall

No more excuses.  Our life is crazy.  My kids are growing like weeds.  The year is coming to a close.  It's December, and I'm just posting Fall / Halloween pictures.  Whatever.

I made this pinafore for Eveley last year.  (Thankfully, I made it a few sizes big so she could continue to wear it.  No way am I sewing anything lately.)

I picked up the cutest little pirate costumes for the twins.  But when Halloween rolled around, they were miserably sick.  I stayed home with the little pirates (sans costumes), and Bob and Mathers took the older two.

Shortly after Robbie was born, my dad bought him a "real" firefighter outfit.  We put it away planning for him to wear it one day.  So it was neat for me to be able to pull it out this year for Caleb.  He loved it!!

Eveley insisted on wearing her Raggedy Anne costume from the dress up trunk.  (I think she just wanted to wear a wig.)

So many more pics to follow, but blogger is giving me grief.

Will try again tomorrow.... or the next day.

Sorry

My sincerest apologies.  I cannot believe it has been over a month since I last blogged.  Terrible, I know.  But it has been uber craziness in our neck of the woods.

But in the midst of this craziness, I am so very thankful for an intensely loving and caring Heavenly Father.  He desires to have a unique relationship with each of us.  His attention to detail is mind-boggling.  I do not want to forget this "Red Sea parting" in our lives.

Over the past several weeks, we have sold a house (after getting multiple and over-list price offers) and purchased a house (the absolute perfect house for us), all within a matter of weeks.  We have been in our new home for 2 weeks now and are in love.  There is still so much to be done, but we are taking this Thanksgiving weekend to slow down, relax as a family, and thank our God for blessing us in such a unique way.

My camera battery is charged, and I promise to return with an updated look into our crazy.
