Waiting No More

We welcomed our precious bundle of joy

Caleb Robert

into this world at 11:47 p.m. on December 8. He weighs 7 pounds, 1.5 ounces and is 19 3/4 inches long.

There are so many details to share - the significance of his birthdate, the meaning of his name, the whirlwind of his birth, Eveley Joy's adjustment. But, for now, these pictures will have to suffice. I feel as if I've been hit by a very large truck! But we are so blessed and excited to enter this new stage in our lives.

Thank you all for your many prayers and beautiful words that you've shared with us.

Congrats. He is so gorgeous. Hope you guys are adjusting well. And from one Caleb momma to another--good choice on the name. Also, how in the world do you look so good after just having a baby? You will have to share your secrets.

Lauren,

I've already commented, but I came back to check the date that Caleb Robert was born. I wanted to tell you that I felt an incredibly strong need to pray for you and Bob late Monday afternoon. I heard a song on the radio and thought of you. I prayed that God would show you his love and mercy during this Christmas season. Praise God for your new miracle!

Lots of love,
Carey
